This poster was designed for a benefit for the Grateful Dead when they got busted in New Orleans. That's why I used the devil in a ball and chain. I tried to make the poster as dynamic as possible. It was a great show !also there was a version without the red and orange-yellow, just the dark brown. and that is the second image there were not a lot of these. Supposely they were delieved to Micket Hart father that was manageing The Dead at the time and they vanised. The Poster and Handbills were printed on the same sheet of paper. Size Poster: 13 7/8" wide, 21" tall. Handbill: 4 5/8", 7" tall. A very rare and hard to find, nice poster...
